Shaver's Creek Music Festival

1:00–6:00 p.m.

Enjoy fantastic local music from Pure Cane Sugar, Grain, and Dreams and Bones. Delicious food from Eden View Organics and Standing Stone Coffee Company will also be on sale. Tickets are $5 for members, students, and seniors, and $10 for nonmembers. Children 6 and under are free! Tickets are on sale at Shaver’s Creek, Wiscoy for Animals, Appalachian Outdoors, Standing Stone Coffee Company, and Whipple Dam Store.

The Music Festival is made possible by the support of our members, the Arts Endowment at Shaver’s Creek, HappyValley.com, ClearWater Conservancy, and Appalachian Outdoors.

The tentative line up for the festival is:

1:00–2:15 p.m.             Dreams & Bones

2:30–3:45 p.m.            Grain

4:30–6:00 p.m.           Pure Cane Sugar

Some things to remember if you come:

~  We are a Zero Waste Facility, which means we have no trash receptacles at the Center. Most materials can be recycled or composted here, but if you can’t find a home for it, please pack it out with you!

~  The event is rain or shine (barring unsafe weather).

~  There will be no ticket refunds.

~  Things to bring: Chairs or a blanket to sit on; CASH if you are going to buy food. We encourage participants to support the local food vendors onsite rather than bringing in outside food, knowing that a portion of the proceeds go towards supporting Shaver’s Creek

~  Things NOT to bring: Alcohol; Dogs

~  Smoking may be permitted in designated areas, and we ask that you properly dispose of butts.

~  Parking is limited at Shaver’s Creek, so please CARPOOL when possible, and be prepared to park at Stone Valley Recreation Area if our lot is full. You may take the short 10-minute walk from there.
