Public Workshops

Public workshops at Shaver’s Creek are designed to introduce families, students, and community members to a wide range of outdoor-based discoveries, activities, hikes, hobbies, and games.  Past workshops have included owl prowls, stargazing, primitive fire making, soapmaking, and many more!

The topics and themes of Shaver’s Creek Family and Youth programs vary from season to season and year to year, so we encourage you to peruse our Calendar of Events or call us at the Center to find out what’s coming up.  You can also join our email list, Letters from the Birdbox, to receive the latest program offerings right in your inbox (emails typically are sent once or twice a month).
