On April 29th we had a nice Envirothon group of 5th and 6th graders visit from Everett Area Elementary in Bedford County. Here are some pictures from their day here.
While they were here, they watched a Bird of Prey show, went on a natural history walk, and got their feet wet as they studied the health of Shaver’s Creek. We’re excited to report that on May 5th, they entered 4 teams in the Bedford County Elementary Envirothon. Those teams won 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th place out of the 18 teams that competed. Way to go Everett Area Elementary Envirothon!
