Whoooo loves owls? Come on out to the Center for our Sweetheart Owl Prowl on Saturday, February 22, from 6:00–8:00 p.m.! Volunteers Rodney Brubaker and Carolyn Muse will offer an indoor slide show that will discuss owls’ habitats, prey choices, hunting strategies, and nighttime adaptations. Then they will take everyone outdoors and call for owls in the wild. With some luck and effective listening, the owls may call back!
Bring a flashlight, dress for the weather, and bring sturdy footwear. Owl prowls are very popular programs, so pre-registration is necessary. The program is FREE to members and $5.00/person for non-members. Thank you to our members for supporting public programs! This program is recommended for ages 8 and up.
