Join Lucy Heggenstaller as she provides a free in-person and socially distant workshop on Forest Bathing.

The Japanese practice Shinrin Yoku, commonly known as Forest Bathing, encourages us to slow down and fully immerse ourselves in nature. This highly sensory experience is accompanied by countless health benefits, including stress relief, lowered blood pressure, and heightened attention span. Local Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, Lucy Heggenstaller, will guide us on a Forest Bathing walk through the forest of Shaver’s Creek, allowing us to connect with the natural world.

This program will be limited to a maximum of 15 people. You must register to attend this event, but please only register if you plan to attend as registration will close when the 15 people limit is reached. This program will be hosted entirely out of doors, so please dress for the weather. Masks are required to be worn by all participants when physical distancing is not possible.

Participants will meet at Shaver’s Creek in the front yard.

Please note: this event runs from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
We are running an earlier workshop directly beforehand from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
