Have you ever wondered how you can contribute to scientific research from your own backyard? Citizen science is the answer! Project Feederwatch, an extension of Cornell University, is one of many citizen science projects that we engage in at Shaver’s Creek.
Stop by to learn all about the history of this neat project and how you can sign up to participate. We’ll also spend some time observing our feeders, learning about some of this area’s most common birds, and reviewing feeder cam footage to see who has been visiting us here.
