Whooooo is ready for another Fall Owl Prowl? We are!
Rodney Brubaker, Jon Kauffman, and Carolyn Muse will begin the night with a PowerPoint presentation in our indoor classroom to share about the common owls in our region. We’ll also take a look at real video footage from our Mifflin County Barn Owl Nestbox project. After the presentation concludes, we’ll head outdoors and call for owls in the wild. With some luck and effective listening, we may hear the owls call back!
Bring a flashlight, dress for the weather, and bring sturdy footwear. This program is recommended for ages 8 and up.
