Join Shaver’s Creek staff Alexa Sarussi for a free, in-person morning of nature journaling at Rhoneymeade Arboretum & Sculpture Garden!
This month at Rhoneymeade, we’ll learn how to use needle felting to capture your observations of the natural world. Jen Anderson, a craft lover and Shaver’s Creek faculty member, will walk us through the process of using specially designed notched needles to sculpt wool into shapes and designs. Materials will be provided, and the program will be held indoors at Rhoneymeade, with options to explore and create outdoors as weather allows.
All ages, families, and individuals are welcome. We encourage parents to bring children who express genuine interest in nature drawing, but ask that they monitor their behavior. Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult participant.
