In case you haven’t heard, Shaver’s Creek has two sessions of our annual Wreath Making Workshop coming up tomorrow, December 4th. Shaver’s Creek staff will teach you how to use evergreen boughs, pine cones, grapevine, and other natural materials to create wreaths for all seasons. Materials will be provided, but you may bring your own dried flowers and decorations, too. You can also learn how to make bows using ribbon of your own choosing or with ribbon provided at the center. If you have your own hand pruner and glue gun, please bring them. Dress for both indoor and outdoor work.
You may sign up (or show up!) for either the 9am – 12pm or the 1pm – 4pm sessions. Each session will begin with instruction and discussion about the techniques and styles of wreath making. The cost for this program is $25 for non-members and $20 for members. This fee includes natural materials for one to four wreaths per person (depending upon the styles you choose). The workshop is for participants ages 10 and up.
