Have you been curious about birds, but you aren’t sure where to start? This program is for you!
Join Shaver’s Creek naturalist Patti for some simple, casual, and relaxing time with the birds as we learn the basics: how to start noticing the details, how to watch birds in your own backyard, and how to find peace and mindfulness through birdwatching. This program will take place indoors, but we may also venture to some of our seated outdoor locations, depending on the weather. We will not be doing any intensive walking or hiking in this program.
This introductory program is designed for absolute beginners — no experience, equipment, or materials necessary! All ages are welcome, no registration required.
