Community Nature Journaling

Join Shaver’s Creek staff Alexa Sarussi for a free, in-person morning of nature journaling at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center for a choose-your-own-adventure morning! We will be based in the brand new Hamer Community Room (indoors and heated) with easy access to the meandering boardwalk and trails of the marsh. Stay warm indoors capturing scenes through the windows or working on pages from the year you never quite got around to finishing. Or strike out in mittens and coats to explore winter in the marsh. We’ll finish with an optional sharing of journal pages from the year, as well as a light-fare potluck. 

All ages, families, and individuals are welcome. We encourage parents to bring children who express genuine interest in nature drawing, but ask that they monitor their behavior. Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult participant.
