Do you want to learn more about raptors? Join Penn State Wildlife and Fishery students Saturday, September 21, 2019 for a short bird walk and tour of the Shaver’s Creek Raptor Aviary!
The program will include a brief walk down to the pavilion to look for migrating raptors before touring the aviary.
Please be prepared for changing weather conditions as we will be outside for the entirety of the walk and tour. Hiking shoes and sneakers are suggested, as well as a rain jacket in case of inclement weather. Binoculars are recommended; we will also have extras to borrow if needed. Plan for about an hour.
