Welcome to Shaver’s Creek—the perfect destination to explore the natural world, embrace your curiosity, and just have fun! Whether you’re learning about animals by visiting our aviary, herpetarium, and indoor bird-watching station or reconnecting with nature by exploring our trails, ponds, pollinator gardens, and LTERP reflection spots, there’s always more to discover.

Many of our visitors also spend time at the nearby Stone Valley Recreation Area, which features 20+ miles of hiking trails, seasonal equipment rentals for boating and cross-country skiing, picnic areas, overnight cabins rentals, and more.
